More and more often, professionals today are considering transitioning out of their current careers and into a new field. If this sounds like something you’re thinking about, you’re not alone. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 6.2 million people in 2016 transferred from one occupational group to another.

While you may be thinking of changing careers, you may be a less certain about how to actually make that happen. This webinar series will help you identify some of those actionable next steps. The three-part series will include:

Jan. 11: A panel of UGA Alumni who have successfully transitioned careers

Jan. 18: Categorize transferrable skills that you have gained in your current and previous jobs and recognize missing skills you may need and avenues for closing the skills gap

Jan. 26: Steps you can be taking right now to make your new ideal career a reality
