The date for this event has passed

Date: February 25, 2020
Time: 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm

Location: Clark Howell Hall, Multi-Purpose Room (246)

If you're applying to PA, PT, OT, AA, medical, dental, pharmacy, genetic counseling, or any other healthcare program, it's time to start thinking about writing your personal statement. In this group session, we'll discuss content about what admissions committees look for in personal statements and do activities to come up with content to craft a strong statement. You'll walk away with tangible resources and written ideas to help you begin your personal statement.

***This session is recommended for students applying to healthcare programs who are trying to start their personal statement and will provide time for questions and discussing content with peers. This session is not recommended for one-on-one time with a Career Consultant—if you are seeking this, please schedule an appointment.***

Bring a pen or your laptop and be ready to write. Labs are limited to 25 students; must register in advance on Handshake to attend. To avoid disrupting other students, you will not be able to enter the workshop 10 minutes or more after the start time. Please arrive on time.
