Express Workshop: Job Search Strategies (Arch Ready Spring 2020)

This 30-minute express workshop will cover the top five tips to help you stand out in the job search in 15 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes for questions. From developing your application materials to applying for and then following up for jobs online, you’ll learn how to navigate the job search effectively. If you're in need of some quick job search tips in between classes, this workshop is for you!

In this workshop, you will learn:

  1. How to identify your interests and goals for job searching
  2. What Career Center resources are available during your job search
  3. The importance of using strategic key words on job platforms
  4. Different ways to conduct a job search
  5. How to set realistic goals during the job search process

This workshop is open to ALL majors at UGA and counts toward your Arch Ready Professionalism Certificate.

This workshop is limited to 25 people per session and pre-registration is required on Handshake.
