Our guest speaker, Maria Bowie, serves as Coordinator of Employee Recruitment for UGA Cooperative Extension. She began her career with UGA in 1999, as a 4-H Agent in Effingham County (near Savannah). Maria has also worked in marketing and communications and health and wellness programs for UGA. She is a double dawg, with a B.S. in Forestry, Masters in Public Administration and is currently pursuing a doctorate in public health at UGA.
