Time: 7:15 am until 5:45 pm

The UGA Career Center has coordinated a day-long corporate bus trip from Athens to Atlanta for students of all majors to learn more about the various career paths and company culture at RaceTrac and LocumTenens.com. Transportation and lunch will be provided. Previous participants have said trips like this one were the most beneficial experience related to their career development. Even if you are not interested in employment at one of these companies, this Career Caravan provides participants with great insight into the mind of a recruiter, what office spaces might look like, and how to set yourself up for success in your job or internship search. Applications close on Tuesday, October 30th at 11:59 p.m. Don't wait to apply!

TO APPLY: Search for “UGA Career Caravan" in the jobs on Handshake and upload your resume and a brief 200-word essay. Selected participants will be provided with a class excuse letter verifying that you are attending the Career Caravan, but it is up to participants to have a conversation with professors about this opportunity.
