Career Consultant for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences (Social Sciences)
Brittany Rikard joined the Career Center team in September 2016 as the Career Consultant for Social Science majors in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Berry College, after which her passion for helping others led her to obtain a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia.
Brittany is excited to collaborate with students to identify their unique gifts, strengths, and interests, and help develop the skills they need in order to succeed in their exploration of the career world. She has a diverse work background, including: medical social work, counseling, leading a mental health mobile crisis team, facilitating and hosting various groups in an outdoor leadership program, and working as a team leader at Chick-Fil-A. Brittany’s array of vocational experiences has given her great exposure and insight into life in the workplace, and she is eager to help students prepare for their own limitless future opportunities.
