Employers are much more impressed with candidates that know their industry and their company, so do your homework!
Learn as much as you can and ask intelligent questions about the company’s products, the work environment, and the potential for advancement.
- See if the company (or the industry) has been featured in the news lately.
- Are they receiving good press or bad press?
- How do recent events impact the future of that company (and your future as a potential employee)?
