Generational Differences in the Workplace

Date: May 1, 2024
Time: 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm

Location: Virtual Venue (Online)

Although age-diverse work environments are not a new phenomenon, the span of generations present has increased over the last few decades as generations age into and out of the workforce. As workplaces diversify, we are challenged to modify our current ways of working with one another or even develop entirely new strategies. Oftentimes, when approaches to work vary and conflicts with one another arise, it is this generational divide that is identified as the culprit for workplace woes. This workshop will explore how age-associated stereotypes impact the workplace, how to recognize when these stereotypes can get us into difficult conversations, and how to navigate “challenges” through an informative and engaging lens.

In this webinar, you’ll learn:
- A cursory understanding of research on generations.
- How to consider generational differences in the workplace.
- Navigating generational differences and avoiding reliance on generational stereotypes.
- Effective communication strategies to consider for enhancing your workplace.
