What Can “The Lord of the Rings” Teach Us About Finding a Career Path? (Arch Ready Spring 2025)
Date: March 25, 2025
Time: 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm
Location: Online Via Handshake
"It's my doom, I think, to go to that Shadow yonder, so that a way will be found. But will good or evil show it to me? What hope we had was in speed. Delay plays into the Enemy's hands - and here I am: delayed… All my choices have proved ill… Every day that passes is a precious day lost. I am tired, Sam. I don't know what is to be done."
Have you ever felt like Frodo Baggins, tired and not able to decide on a path toward your major or career? Whether you have watched or read The Lord of the Rings, are a superfan or new beginner, or are exploring a new path or not, all are welcome to join this Arch Ready session to mix a little Tolkien into thinking about your major/career path. Let this fantastical world be your introduction to Career Center resources that will leave you feeling much more informed about your choices, interests, and skills.
“What you will see, if you leave the Mirror free to work, I cannot tell. For it shows things that were, and things that are, things that yet may be. But which it is that he sees, even the wisest cannot always tell. Do you wish to look?"
