You’ve got no reason to be afraid. Join our mentor panel for an engaging discussion and Q&A on professionalism and budgeting, guiding you as you enter your new chapter post-graduation. Let’s turn those solo strides into confident steps! This program develops the following UGA Institutional Competencies: Critical Thinking and Communication.

After attending this program, you will be able to:

  1. Describe the key differences between the college environment and the work environment, including recognizing important job values and understanding common professional etiquette challenges faced by new professionals.
  2. Identify general characteristics and advantages of budgeting and apply budgeting techniques to their personal finances as they navigate life beyond graduation.
  3. Develop connections in the workplace by utilizing relationship-building techniques and effectively communicating with co-workers, supervisors, and others both verbally and digitally.
