RSVP/joining the event is not necessary to attend the Career Fair.

This day-long event connects companies and organizations with students seeking careers in digital, print and broadcast journalism, entertainment, media sales, advertising and public relations. Internships and full-time positions will be available, but please research the companies attending to confirm their openings. All related majors at UGA are encouraged to attend. Be sure to check the list of employers attending the fair to do research, and be prepared to have meaningful conversations on the day of the event!

  • 10:30-11 a.m.—Coffee Mixer with Students and Employers—Hosted in the Peyton Anderson Forum in the Journalism Building
  • 11:00 a.m. -12:15 p.m.—Career Panel “Transitioning to the Real World: Advice from Employers”—Hosted in the Peyton Anderson Forum in the Journalism Building
  • 12:30-2:00 p.m.— Networking Luncheon with Students and Employers—Hosted in Tate Grand Hall—Register for the Luncheon
  • 2:00-5:00 p.m.— Journalism and Mass Communication Career Fair—Hosted in Tate Grand Hall
