Salary negotiation conversations are tough, so come learn how to do it well, and then try it! In this session, you will recognize your own value to understand the importance of salary negotiation as a part of the job search process. We will also identify helpful research tools to find salary data that will equip you to determine a target salary range. Finally, we will wrap up by providing varied negotiation scenarios and how to negotiate beyond the salary.
As a result of attending this program, students will :
- Recognize the importance of negotiating a salary as a part of the job search process
- Identify research tools to find salary data and identify a target salary range
- Identify varied negotiation scenarios and how to negotiate beyond the salary.
