Market Development Manager at The Coca-Cola Company

I am employed full-time with The Coca-Cola Company in New York City as a Market Development Manager. I initially started working in the Tampa, FL office but was selected for an amazing opportunity in NYC. Within my current role, I oversee the entire marketing, advertising and sales operations within the Financial District area of Manhattan, New York. This area houses some of the world's most prominent businesses such as The World Trade Center, The Federal Reserve Bank, and New York Stock Exchange. By doing so, I provide strategic consultation for a diverse group of clients (from associates to senior leaders) in order to develop effective marketing and sales strategies used to grow their food and beverage businesses.

Currently, I am in the process of working on several marketing proposals specific to the opening of "One World Trade Center" (formerly known as Freedom Tower), where the Twin Towers once stood. It is my responsibility to redevelop the food & beverage market surrounding the new World Trade Center to what it once used to be prior to the 9/11 attacks.

I learned of this exciting opportunity to work for The Coca-Cola Company through the UGA Career Center’s online job board, DAWGlink. Through the Career Center, I was able to receive a lot of coaching on my interview skills, resume critiques, as well as job search assistance. One thing I would definitely like to commend the Career Center on is their ability to always be available when needed; therefore, I would like to say thanks! At the end of the day, I was afforded the opportunity to be a part of my dream company—“the Real Thing.”
