Majors & Careers

Majors and Careers.

Having trouble choosing a major? You’re not alone. Many students struggle with deciding on a major, and there are many reasons why.  Some of those reasons may include:

  1. A belief that the major you choose will dictate your future career options.
  2. Pressure from family and friends to choose a major they “think” would be good for you.
  3. Concern that you’ll have to attend graduate school if you chose a particular major.

It may just be that you don’t have enough information about the majors offered and the career choices related to them. So, what are you to do?

Never fear, the Career Center is here to help you! We believe that in order to figure out what you want to do in life, you need to know who you are first. That’s why the Career Center takes a comprehensive approach in helping you choose a major.
