University Relations Manager for the Southeast Territory at Kohl’s Department Stores

As a Fashion Merchandising major, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in the retail industry. I connected with Kohl's at the UGA Career Fair my senior year and discovered the amazing opportunities and growth potential they had to offer through the Manager in Training Program. After I completed 12 weeks of training after graduation, I was placed as an Assistant Store Manager in the Atlanta market running an average of $10M worth of business!

As I began to develop as a leader in my store, I also got involved with campus recruiting. I was very lucky to be able to come back to UGA, work career fairs, and assist with interview events in addition to excelling in my store role. These experiences led to invaluable exposure with senior leaders in my company and allowed me to be considered for a promotion into my current position as the University Relations Manager for the Southeast Territory.

I now manage recruiting for 22 campuses in 13 states along with getting to come back to UGA as a proud alum! I truly believe what I learned in my undergraduate classes, from my professors, and working with the Career Center to develop my interviewing skills and resume helped me land my first job out of college and work towards promotion.
