Media Marketing Associate at Bloomberg

Throughout my undergraduate career, the UGA Career Center has been an invaluable tool to my success. During freshman year, my Career Consultant told me about the T. Howard Foundation, an internship program focused on the advancement of women and minorities in the multimedia industry. The foundation helped me discover my passion for marketing within the television and film industry and after my acceptance into the program, I secured an internship with AMC Networks in New York working in their Affiliate Marketing division. From that opportunity, I leveraged my experience and knowledge to obtain an internship with Time Warner Cable in New York, executing business to business marketing tactics. My internship at Time Warner Cable led to an internship at Home Box Office where I worked on multi-platform consumer marketing campaigns for HBO Sports, Documentaries and Original Series. From HBO, I secured a post-graduate internship with the Creative Artists Agency, working with brands such as Coca-Cola, Burberry and Southwest Airlines in their Entertainment Marketing department.

After my internship with the Creative Artists Agency, I signed an offer to work at Bloomberg as their Media Marketing Associate developing marketing collateral to support the sales team in syndicating Bloomberg content internationally. Such an opportunity would never have occurred if I didn't develop a relationship with my Career Consultants, who mentored me, reviewed my resume, prepped me for interviews and gave me the support I needed to succeed.
