Administrative Intern at Huffington Post
The Career Center at the University of Georgia has been a wonderful resource that has allowed me to thrive and grow in the corporate world exponentially. The professionals who work in this department are extremely dedicated to their students, and they are the reason why I have had the opportunity to participate in six major internships during my time as a UGA student. I am only a junior now, and I am a proud advocate of what the Career Center has to offer.
The DAWGlink website has been a major outlet for my employment. It was through that site that I was able to secure many exciting internships at companies like Sony Music Entertainment, CBS College Sports, The Huffington Post, and Victoria’s Secret PINK. The most exciting thing I got to do recently was spend my summer in New York listening to amazing lectures in the Sony Music Corporate building and also work in Arianna Huffington’s office as her administrative intern. The experience was utterly amazing. When I was done with my summer internships, I was flown immediately to Ohio to begin my next feat as a Campus Representative for Victoria's Secret PINK this fall. My life started to become action packed and exciting as I got to network with so many worldwide moguls, and it seemed so surreal! If it wasn’t for the Career Center at UGA, none of this could have happened, and I am so thankful to be a Bulldawg in a wonderful school that is dedicated to developing such amazing new leaders and business professionals!
