Student’s Guide to Mentorship (Arch Ready Fall 2026)

What is mentoring? How do I find a mentor? How is a mentor beneficial to me? These might be a few questions you ask yourself when considering joining the UGA Mentor Program. This panel of UGA students will share their experiences to provide guidance around navigating mentoring relationships and explain effective practices to help you leverage mentorship to achieve your personal and professional goals.
In this workshop you will:
- Describe what the UGA Mentor Program is and operate the UGA Mentor Program platform
- Identify at least two mentoring resources and how they can be used in a mentoring relationship
- Write at least two mentorship expectations or intended goals for your future mentoring relationship
**To receive credit for this program, you must log in through Handshake and complete the survey at the end of the session. Access to this event will be made available 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
