UGA Student Employee of the Year

The University of Georgia Student Employee of the Year competition is sponsored by

The University of Georgia Career Center

Each spring, the National Student Employment Association coordinates a selection process and chooses the National Student Employee of the Year to recognize the outstanding contributions and achievements of students. Working students and their employers provide immeasurable contributions to their institutions and to their community. The second full week in April was established to honor the students working on campus and their respective employers. For 2021, with the pandemic continuing to impact us all, NSEA will recognize top students from each region.

In coordination with the National Student Employment Association and the UGA Career Center, we invite you to express your appreciation for your student employees by nominating a student for The University of Georgia's "Student Employee of the Year." The top 25 student employees and one team will be honored through our celebration video. The team award is only recognized by the UGA Career Center and is not eligible for the regional or national competition.

Who is Eligible?
• All undergraduate students who are enrolled at The University of Georgia and are employed on-campus.

*Please Note: Graduate Administrative, Research or Teaching Assistants are NOT eligible.

UGA's campus nominations are to be submitted online by 11:00pm Thursday, February 4th, 2021.
