With Wicked: For Good hitting the theaters soon, there’s never been a better time to channel your inner Elphaba and Glinda – not just in Oz, but in the workplace. In this workshop, you can expect to explore the themes of self-discovery, empowerment, and courage found in Wicked and learn to implement these strengths in your career planning.
If you're wondering how to advocate for your needs in the workplace and align your values to your career, this Wicked workshop is for you!
This program develops the following UGA Institutional Competencies: Social Awareness & Responsibility and Communication.
After attending this Arch Ready program, students will be able to:
- Describe key personal values and passions to plan accordingly for an empowered, values-centered career
- Identify the basics of salary negotiation and other popular workplace situations that involve a need for self-advocacy
- Use storytelling and self-awareness as tools for workplace conversations including finding a mentor
This workshop combines pop culture insight with practical strategies to help you sing your own song and take center stage in your professional life!
