The UGA Career Center is partnering with the Disability Resource Center to bring you this workshop on considerations for transitioning from college into the workplace as a student with disabilities. We will also discuss disability disclosure and requesting accommodations in the workplace. This program aligns with the following UGA competencies: Critical Thinking, Communication, and Social Awareness and Responsibility. 

As a result of attending this virtual panel discussion, UGA student attendees will be able to:

  1. Recognize what constitutes a disability in the workplace
  2. Identify appropriate ways to support colleagues with varied abilities at work
  3. Evaluate strategies for requesting workplace accommodations
