Effective, professional communication is likely something new to upcoming college graduates. We'll cover key topics such as active listening, nonverbal cues, email etiquette, and adapting communication styles to different audiences. Through real-world examples and interactive scenarios, students will learn how strong communication skills can enhance teamwork, resolve conflicts, and boost career success.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Students will be able to identify and apply effective verbal and nonverbal communication techniques in professional settings.
  • Students will learn how to tailor their communication style to different audiences, including supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
  • Students will demonstrate an understanding of professional email etiquette and how to construct clear, concise workplace messages.
