Exploring Alternative Career and Major Pathways (Arch Ready Fall 2025)

What happens when you change your mind about your major or career? What do you pivot to if you do not get into the major you applied for? How can you achieve the same career but find it through a different major? How do you find new ideas for what your major can do for a career? If you are feeling uncertain about any of these questions, join us to discuss ideas about what to do to find another way forward.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify at least 1 alternative major or career that might be of interest
- Navigate a Career Center or UGA resource that provides more information on major and career options
- Discover 1 alum who represents an alternative route to a career of interest
This program develops the following UGA Institutional Competencies:
- Creativity & Innovation
- Critical Thinking
