Assistant Director of Diversity Programs
Career Consultant for the Terry College of Business (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Music Business and International Business)
Toria serves as the Assistant Director of Diversity Programs at the University of Georgia Career Center. In this position she oversees the programming initiatives within the office that allows access and professional development for the university's diverse student populations.
She also serves the Terry College of Business students majoring in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Music Business, and International Business. She joined the UGA Career Center team in June 2018 after receiving her Master of Science in Educational Leadership in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Mississippi State University.
Toria has a passion for diversity & inclusion and has made it her purpose to thread the concept of equity throughout the career development work that she does. This can be seen through her role as career liaison for the UGA LGBTQ Resource Center and her involvement on the internal UGA Career Center Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Toria's personal mission statement is "With a determined spirit, I will provide my students the professional development needed to reach their goals." Through her coaching strategies and interpersonal relationship building, she prides herself in the ability to connect with people and help them in their own personal achievements.
