Have you ever wondered how the transition from student to employee will affect your wellbeing? Do you worry that your career will leave you feeling overwhelmed? Attend the UGA Career Center’s Careers + Wellbeing virtual workshop series to learn more about common workplace stressors that can impact young professionals’ wellbeing. We’ll share quick tips to help you prioritize your wellness and practice self-advocacy as you prepare to launch your career. This workshop focuses on coping with the major life transitions you’re likely to encounter early in your career, like beginning a new job or moving to a new city.
As a result of attending this workshop, you will be able to:
- Explain the major life transitions you’re likely to face early in your career
- Identify common emotional reactions and effective coping skills to handle major life transitions
- Articulate campus, community, and personal resources to help you manage life’s inevitable transitions
