Identities in the Workplace: Arch Ready Spring 2024

This is a virtual event. You MUST register via Handshake. At the time of the event, you will return to Handshake and join the virtual presentation. You must join via the Handshake event to obtain credit for Arch Ready. You will also need to complete the survey at the end of the presentation.
We all hold multiple identities that we bring into the workplace. In this program we will discuss why having different identities represented in the workplace is so important, how to recognize your own identities, and how to advocate for yourself and others when it comes to supporting diverse identities. By attending this program, you will be able to:
- Use identity models to name your own identities
- Define and describe what intersectionality and salient identities mean
- Explain how identities show up in the workplace and why this is important
- Articulate methods for supporting diverse identities
