Applying to Grad School - How to Stay Organized & On Track: Arch Ready Fall 2024

This is a virtual event. You MUST register via Handshake. At the time of the event, you will return to Handshake and join the virtual presentation. You must join via the Handshake event to obtain credit for Arch Ready. You will also need to complete the survey at the end of the presentation.

So, you’ve decided to start thinking about graduate school! You have an idea of what you want to study, and now you are ready to research and apply to programs. The process can be a bit daunting, but this workshop is here to assist in breaking down your next step! This program develops the following UGA Institutional Competencies: Communication and Critical Thinking.

By attending this workshop, you will:

  1. Explore reflective questions and activities that guide how to research for potential programs in an organized manner.
  2. List common components and requirements for graduate school applications (such as testing, recommendation letters, personal statements, resumes, etc.) and approximate timelines for these components.
  3. Identify at least 2 Career Center resources to assist with the graduate school research and application process.
