This is a virtual event. You MUST register via Handshake. At the time of the event, you will return to Handshake and join the virtual presentation. You must join via the Handshake event to obtain credit for Arch Ready. You will also need to complete the survey at the end of the presentation.

Join this UGA Mentor led panel to learn how to cultivate meaningful connections as you navigate college and the transition into your career. This program will clarify the differences between networking and mentorship, help build your confidence when it comes to seeking out meaningful connections, and teach you how to sustain these relationships throughout your career. This program develops the following UGA Institutional Competencies: Communication and Social Awareness & Responsibility.

After attending this program, you’ll be able to:

  1. Explain how building different types of connections contributes to your personal and professional wellbeing.
  2. Identify strategies for how to seek out and build connections, especially early in your career.
  3. Identify and utilize campus and community resources to improve your overall wellbeing.
