Have you ever wondered how the transition from student to employee will affect your wellbeing? Do you worry that your career will leave you feeling overwhelmed? Attend the UGA Career Center’s Careers + Wellbeing virtual workshop series to learn more about common workplace stressors that can impact young professionals’ wellbeing. We’ll share quick tips to help you prioritize your wellness and practice self-advocacy as you prepare to launch your career. This workshop focuses on developing and maintaining realistic self-care practices as you transition into your career. As a result of attending this workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Explain why self-care is important to professional well-being
  2. Identify common emotional reactions and effective coping skills to handle major life transitions, while also realizing different seasons of life call for different self-care practices
  3. Articulate campus, community, and personal resources to help develop self-care practices
