Join us to learn how to craft a compelling story that highlights your motivations, strengths, and vision for a career in health care. We’ll guide you through essential tips for identifying the right content to include and common pitfalls to avoid. Stand out to professional school admissions by conveying your message with clarity and efficiency.
This program develops the following UGA Institutional Competencies: Communication and Creativity & Innovation. After attending this workshop, you will be able to:
- Recognize the logistics of professional school Centralized Application Systems related to personal statements and other written materials.
- Create an initial outline for a personal statement based on the four key components of Motivation, Fit, Capacity, and Vision.
- Identify at least 3 personal statement resources at UGA to support your revision process.
