LGBTQ: Job Searching

This workshop will help you develop more concrete job search skills and provide a space to discuss the intersections between one’s identity as LGBTQ and the job search process. This session specifically focuses on how to identify LGBTQ-supporting companies and tips for job searching.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Students will be able to identify LGBTQ supportive companies by researching their policies, and benefit packages.

• Students will discover tools like LinkedIn and the Corporate Equality Index to assist them in the job search process.
