The UGA VIRTUAL Part-Time Job and Internship Fair event will be held on Handshake. Connect with employers and secure a part-time job or internship.

Find a part-time job or internship position offered by Athens area employers off-campus and on-campus. UGA Departments will be hiring. Connect with hiring managers on Handshake. Having a part-time job or internship is crucial to gaining work experience and building your resume. Check Handshake for current jobs before the fair at career.uga.edu.

To register for the UGA VIRTUAL Part-Time Job and Internship Fair:

  1. Log in to your Handshake account, click on Events, and select the “virtual” and “career fairs” filters.
  2. Register for the fair. Your registration is required to sign up for group sessions (30 minutes) and 1:1 sessions (10 minutes) with employers.
  3. Set your Handshake account privacy settings to “COMMUNITY” to sign up for group and 1:1 sessions with employers. You can do this by clicking on your photo or initials in the top right corner of Handshake and selecting “Settings & Privacy”.

On the day of the fair, you will be able to access the fair online and through your Handshake App. Keep an eye on your email and follow us on social media @UGACareerCenter, as we will continue sharing resources and tips to help you prepare for and navigate the virtual fair platform.
