Want to learn how you can get the most out of your mentoring relationship? Attend this Express workshop if you are a current mentee in the UGA Mentor Program or seeking to connect with a mentor. You’ll learn mentee best practices on how to maximize your mentorship experience. Together, the facilitator and participating students will identify areas of personal and professional improvement, create SMART Goals to establish how they will make those improvements, and actualize how one can communicate these goals with a mentor through a well-developed meeting agenda. Learning Objectives:

1. Students will identify areas of personal and professional improvement.

2. Students will create SMART Goals to establish how to make personal and professional improvements.

3. Students will recognize and discuss the importance of utilizing meeting agendas to actualize SMART goals during their mentoring relationship.

4. Students will further understand the importance of completing the “Knowing Your Skills” worksheet before or during their mentoring relationships. 

Attendance is limited to 25 students and pre-registration is required on Handshake.
