Journalism and Mass Communication Career Day

This event is presented in partnership with the Georgia Association of Broadcasters and Grady College.

This day-long event connects companies and organizations with students seeking careers in digital, print and broadcast journalism, creative mass media, media sales, advertising and public relations. Internships and full-time positions will be available. All majors are encouraged to attend. All Career Day events are open to all students. Please check your email in mid-January for information on how to RSVP for the luncheon. Seats may be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

9:30 -10:45 a.m.— Career Panel Event, Session 1 (topic TBD)—Hosted in the Peyton Anderson Forum in the Journalism Building

11:00 a.m. -12:15 p.m.— Career Panel Event, Session 2 (topic TBD)—Hosted in the Peyton Anderson Forum in the Journalism Building

12:30-2:00 p.m.— Networking Luncheon with students and employers—Hosted in Tate Grand Hall

2:00-5:00 p.m.— Journalism and Mass Communication Career Fair—Hosted in Tate Grand Hall

Diversity and Inclusion Career Conference

This half‐day conference held the evening prior to the Spring Career & Internship Fair, focuses on the career and professional development of diverse talent at UGA. With over 100 students in attendance, employer representatives have the opportunity to engage with students during sessions, dinner, and a networking fair.

Social Work Virtual Resume Reviews

UGA Social Work students, this is an opportunity for you to have your resume reviewed virtually by a member of the UGA Career Center staff!

You will need to have your resume uploaded as a PDF when you register for this event. When you enter the event, you may enter any of the available booths to virtually connect with a Career Center staff member to have your resume reviewed. Reviews will occur via text, and you will have 15 minutes to go over your resume. Try to have any specific questions about your resume prepared to make the best use of time.

**If you are experiencing a long wait, you can enter both booths at once and click that you're ready to begin chatting to decrease your wait time.
