Handshake is UGA's Career Services platform where students can make career counseling appointments and access the online job and internship board.

Resume Samples

Using this resource, students can download Career Center approved sample resumes to help them get started with this daunting task. Each sample can be downloaded as a word or pdf document where students can easily replace the resume content with their information.

Big Interview

Big Interview is an online interviewing software combining expert video lessons and interactive interview practice to help students land their dream job.

What Can I Do With A Major In...?

The UGA Career Center's "What Can I Do with a Major In ... ?" pages address questions such as "What does my major prepare me for?" and "Where have UGA graduates with a particular major found employment?"

UGA Career Outcomes

The Career Outcomes Initiative provides insight into the employment and continuing education status of UGA graduates within an average of 6 months of their graduation date.

These resources provide students with information about the Career Consultants, campus recruiting, interviewing, resume writing, graduate school, and more.

Drop-In Hours and Appointments

For quick career questions, visit the career center during drop-in appointments, hosted every Monday - Friday from 11 am - 2 pm in the Career Center. Students can also schedule individual appointments with their Career Consultant to begin discussing a range of career-related topics.

Career Fairs and Campus Interviews

Employers are encouraged to visit campus to directly connect with UGA students. Employers can host on-campus interviews, information tables and attend career events.

Intern For A Day Program

Offered twice each year, "Intern For A Day" is a voluntary job shadowing experience. Students spend time observing and working with employers to gain an understanding of the culture of the organization and its industry.

Real World Playbook

The “GPS for adulthood,” a collection of tools and resources to ensure recent college grads have the “life-tools” they need to be successful! Topics include credit cards, signing a lease, taxes, and more!


A digital portfolio network that allows students to showcase their work, projects, videos, blogs, and presentations while connecting with classmates. provides students with access to thousands of informational video interviews with real professionals through an easy to use website.

UGA Mentor Program

The UGA Mentor Program is the University’s first comprehensive mentorship initiative that connects students with experienced UGA alumni via a digital platform. Students can search and request a mentor using a variety of search criteria including: industry, identity, major, location and more. There are milestones and resources on the platform to help students and mentors along the way.
