One of the biggest motivators in life is to find a career that you love – work that appeals to your interests and skills, gives meaning to your life, and potentially makes a difference in some way. If helping others is your personal driving force, but you're not sure where to find careers that tap into this motivation, attend this panel discussion and networking session. You will hear from UGA Alumni about their career journeys and advice for current students interested in helping people. You will also have time to network with participating panelists in breakout rooms.

In this session, you will:

  1. Recognize at least 3 potential career paths that help people.
  2. Question two panelists for advice about obtaining a job in a helping profession.
  3. Discuss how to approach the job search and work environment within helping professions.
