You MUST register via Handshake. At the time of the event, you will return to the Handshake event page and join the virtual presentation. You must join via the Handshake event to obtain credit for Arch Ready. You will also need to complete the survey at the end of the presentation.

The personal statement is your tool for describing your goals and motivations in your application to your major, graduate school, or other opportunities.

By attending this Arch Ready program, you will:

  1. Review the role of a personal statement in the application process.
  2. Recognize common challenges and mistakes when writing personal statements.
  3. Identify components of a well-written personal statement.
