M.S. in College Student Personnel – University of Tennessee, Knoxville
B.S. in Family and Child Sciences – Florida State University
Brittany joined the Career Center team in June 2016 and is thrilled to be working with the College of Family and Consumer Sciences and the School of Social Work. Upon graduation from Florida State University, Brittany spent two years working in human resources administration, recruiting, hiring, and training. Through this experience she developed an interest in higher education and career development. She then acquired a graduate assistantship in the University of Tennessee’s Center for Career Development and completed a master’s program in College Student Personnel.
Brittany believes strongly that her role as Career Consultant is not just about helping students land their first job - it’s about partnering cross-functionally with campus partners to assist in integrating career development into curriculum and programming from orientation to graduation. She is passionate about equipping students with knowledge and skills for lifelong career success, connecting students with opportunities, and empowering students to articulate the value of their experiences to employers.
Additionally, Brittany serves as the Career Center liaison to the Disability Resource Center.
